Officer David Friedlander

David Friedlander came to the Unit from the Tactical K-9 UNIT for 8 years. Kyle, his German Shepherd partner, retired at 10 years old *. In September, 1997 David joined the Mounted Unit. He first gained equine experience on the polo team at Cornell University. (and has a tatoo to prove it!) He is a sign lanuage interpreter and the liason for the Deaf community. He is pictured here with with is first mount, Seneca. His new horse is Joe.

Hobbies: David has 2 dogs, 7 cats, 2 retired police horses, and a donkey named Lumpy. All these critters live on an old farm. Contact Officer Friedlander via email
