Officer Daniel Woods joined the City of Rochester in September of 1977. He retired in 2002. His first assignment was 1st platoon in the Patrol Division at the Highland section. In 1981 he became a juvenile officer in the Downtown Section of the City. He worked primarily with child abuse cases. He began working at the Traffic Unit in the Downtown section in 1982. He started in the Mounted Unit working the afternoons in 1984. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1987 and returned to the Patrol Division of the Highland section. He has been at the Mounted Unit since 1992. He is pictured here with General Other photos of Woody
