John Walther was assigned on October 1, 1975 to the Rochester Police Department. He would patrol the East side of the City formerly called the Atlantic section. His was a member of the police scuba team for 3 years and the SWAT team for two years. He joined the Mounted Unit in March 1979. He has been at the Mounted Unit the longest. Hobbies: John-Boy owns a pair of Belgian Draft horses which he uses for farming purposes. He is a farrier. He coaches youth baseball and football and a father of three active teenagers. Downhill skier who has 'eaten' the mountain more then once. |
