Shakka,a Pretty Bay was born in Canada in 1983. At three years old she was traded to the Rochester Mounted Police. It was unknown at that time she was pregnant. She gave birth to a Stud-Colt named Seneca in June of 1986. Seneca is also a police horse with the Unit. Shakka returned to work in March 1987. She is 17 hands tall and weights 1400 pounds. Her partner is John Terranova and they work weekdays together. They a pictured here giving directions to a vistor.
